A common question is ’so, how do you make money out of the site?’. Some visitors presume whilst using the site they are going to be bombarded with large banner adverts, pop-ups or pages redirecting, this will NEVER happen on MultiVitamin.co.uk. The site does generate revenue BUT without ever compromising the MultiVitamin.co.uk values or pro-consumer policy.
Revenue Generation
Our main source of income is affiliation and text links. All content is written from a ‘what’s best for the consumer’ stance, then once the content is finished we go through what has been created and see if we can match up any affiliate programs or text links available. If nothing is available then it is just left as-is and we won’t generate any revenue for that particular page/blog post. Down the right-hand side you will also notice blocks of text to other websites, these are ‘targetted text advertisments’ powered by Google which show links to other websites which are highly relevant to the particular page you are on.
In no way does revenue generation compromise the quality or usability of the site. With websites like ours the best of both worlds can be achieved; you get a great service not diluted by horrible adverts and we can pay our running costs and make a profit.
