
It is healthy to reflect.
As we come to the end of yet another year now is great time to look back and reflect on the past 12 months. Think about what you’ve achieved in your personal life and work life.
To reflect properly you want to get into deep thought and really let your brain go on a long train of thought. No interuptions, a comfortable calm environment and time to relax should ensure you can think clearly.
Reflecting can help you:
- Feel proud of what you’ve achieved, fully apprecite how good your achievements are
- Understand why things have gone how they have
- Learn why things have gone the way they have, then you can avoid the same mistakes and build on achievements
- Lay to rest bad things that have happened, it should be easier to move on
- Look ahead and decide what you want to achieve next year
It is important to reflect, whether it is mainly positive or negative it will help you become a better and stronger person and appreciate what you have.
