Tonight (April 1st 2008) on Channel 4 at 9pm (UK only) there is a TV program called ‘The Diets That Time Forgot’. It is one of a six-part series in which nine volunteers spend over 3 weeks testing weight loss diets and fitness regimes that were popular in the late Victorian and Edwardian periods as well as Twenties. Once all diet and fitness plans have been tested they have to decide which plan works best.
If you are dieting this show is worth a watch so you can see how different it is to what you are doing to lose weight. If you aren’t on a diet (like me) you might want to watch it anyway as it is better than most of the other shows on TV tonight!
